Christmas 2009*

*The title says it all, a very backdated post indeed. :)

Our Christmas last year was good, we put up our Christmas tree about 3 weeks before Christmas and my mei-mei and I helped papa set it up.
I put up the star!

A pretty pose with our decorated Christmas tree

On Christmas eve, we spent it at my Kai Yeh's (Godfather) parents place. Waiting for our presents, there were so many since all who came are suppose to get all the kids presents. I like this rule! :D

Although it was Christmas eve, I was allowed to open one present and it was from my Kai Yeh and it was a princess jewelry box! I love it!

On Christmas day itself, first thing in the morning, we were allowed to open all the presents I got from everybody else including mummy and papa. There will be more later in the afternoon when we are at Uncle Ivan's place.
this is the barbie doll umbrella that Aunty Ng (my caretaker at the daycare) got me

Later in the afternoon, we went over to Uncle Ivan's place and this was what greeted us....
and of course, the spectacular view too...this is one place you wanna be to see fireworks in town!

A pretty pose!

I went for a swim with my cousins but I only hung out at the baby pool, I didn't dare join them in the big pool, even with the one that has a huge water slide

We came back, got changed just to open our presents!

My cousin, Ro Wyn, distributing the presents

That night, we headed over to our Peh Deh's (papa's brother) place for dinner.
Since I cannot bully Shane, our little cousin, I was disturbing my mei-mei - see how Arnie on TV was so fascinated

the main purpose we were there, to open another present! :D

but my mei-mei and I enjoyed helping Shane opened his instead and also were eyeing on his new toy!

Nice Christmassy cupcakes that looks too good to be eaten!

That's our celebration for Christmas 2009, I'm definitely looking forward to this year's Christmas because not long after that would be my birthday! :D

Below is me singing with my Christmas present from my uncle Chun Son and Shasha (mummy's brother). I'm terrified of him but I like this present very much since I'm such a vainpot now.

Loving Christmas Songs

Ever since last Christmas has been over, I still insist at times for the Christmas songs to be played, over and over again. Mummy is thinking that our neighbours must be wondering why are we playing the songs when it is not Christmas.

Lately, it has been a routine to play the songs when I’m getting ready for bed. I used to love “Jingle Bells” but now it is mostly “Santa Clause is coming to town”. And I love singing this phrase “You better watch out” over and over again.

The thing with my favourite stuff is that if I’m being naughty or misbehave, Mummy will always threaten me that I will not get to listen to my music or to watch TV. She wins most of the time.

And so this is Christmas

Lilypie 2nd Birthday Ticker

It was an eventful weekend towards Christmas. First, it was a celebration with our London family friends on Saturday night. Pictures as follows:-

my London boyfriend, Emre, enjoying his chunk of lamb. he is 3 weeks older than me.

this is Emre's mummy, Aunty Mills, I'm not as friendly as Emre and didn't want her to carry me

with Uncle Peter, one of the gang from London as well

took me awhile to blend in and when I did, I was all over with the kids running here and there and I was all drenched in sweat

My cousin's Jo Tien's birthday that day and we all celebrated with him as well that night

Then it was dinner with our Australian relatives on Sunday night...

And on Christmas eve, we were at Mummy's Grandma's house....

The first thing I did, to sit on the chair, refusing to be brought anywhere else in the house as I was scared of the dog. Mummy had to coax me a good 10 minutes to get out of the car.

this is the first time we have this at the house, done by my Nana (Mummy's Aunty Na with Natalie's help, mummy's little cousin)

as usual, the Christmas tree with his overloading pressies

with the kids in front of the Christmas tree

the next day at Mummy's Grandma's on the swing

We went back to Mummy's Grandma's house on Christmas day to open my Christmast presents and then later we went to my Kai Yeh's (godfather) parent's house, my Kong-Kong and Por-Por Hwang for the rest of the day...we met Aunty Pei See, Uncle Ronnie, Uncle Adrian, Aunty Siew Wye and Shawn there.

Shawn got me a Christmas present which was a range of masak-masak set (malay: cooking) and I really enjoyed playing with it.

I even started making tea and stuff to offer to everyone....

But the real tea or in this case coffee was better with the home-made egg tarts done by Aunty Siew Wye....

a family christmassy picture

Shawn and I were monkeying around....

After all that playing and monkeying around, we were both so tired...just nice in ending the night. And so this is my Christmas for this year. Hope you had a good one as well!

Merry Christmas Everybody!

Lilypie 2nd Birthday Ticker

This is a video Mummy managed to take of me singing (ok, more like Mummy singing)....

I love singing this song lately but I didn't actually sing it fully in the video as I wasn't being very cooperative. Mummy had to do this so many times and finally she had to bribe me...with a sweet!

A couple of days later, she tried her luck again...also numerous times...and this is what she got...

Merry Christmas everybody and a Happy New Year!

Our newer, bigger Christmas Tree

Lilypie 2nd Birthday Ticker

Papa did buy us a bigger tree the next day after we put up the original one since it was so small. I did help with the decorations, well, some of it anyway but later got to know that Mummy adjusted them.
We've kept the smaller one up in the cupboard, not sure when we will ever use that one again. If you ask me, I prefer the smaller one as it was small and cute, like me! :D
