Mummy's entry - Bloggers Meet

This is the first time ever we attended a blogger’s meet where there were 6 mummies and 11 kids in total. The purpose was to meet up Vien who is back here from the states with her 2 girls. Thanks to Annie, she helped arranged the meet up.

It is my first time meeting Annie, Barbara and Sasha and my second time meeting Vien. The other mum is Twin and I know her personally as her kids go to the same day-care as mine. I only knew that she was a blogger when Rye Li was like nearly a year old and that also I came across her kids’ names on the blogs I frequently read.

Anyhow, these are the happening mamas on blogosphere and I have been following them for quite some time and hence, it was an honour to finally meet up with them and their adorable, infamous kids (yes, our kids are more famous than their mamas).

We met up last weekend and as much as I would have loved to chat more with them, it was nearly impossible as we had to attend to our kids too. So whatever little time we had, we quickly ate and chatted whatever we could in that 2-3 hours meet. All of us agreed for sure that the next time we meet, we will leave the kids behind! Lol!

Here are some of the impossible pictures that I took. It is so tough to take nice pictures of the kids and sadly, I missed out on some of the infamous kids too.

My CNY 2009 post

Yes, it's been so long but I'll just put up some pics of my CNY. As you will know from my mummy's blog and sister's blog, we all were down with the flu and I'm still coughing. It's in the air, everyone we know is practically coughing for the longest time.

Not long after that when mummy told me about the little crabs that were all over the beach, I became aware that were so many and I freaked out! Now I will tell you I don't like picking up seashells anymore and would want to be carried on the beach

All this while, I've only ever met one of my blogger friends, Lucas (actually, we were suppose to meet Lucas and his mummy too this CNY but we were all too ill then and they were only in KL for 2 nights). And since I missed the chance to meet another one, Belle, when I was at San Francisco in 2007, we made the effort this time round to see her although for only a short time. Belle and her family were here in KL to celebrate CNY. Too bad that we didn't get to see her mei-mei, Cassie, who was asleep then. Here's some photos of us.

What do I think of Belle? Although mummy and papa says she's so cute, I was intimidated by her. She kept kissing my mei-mei and I wasn't happy with this and showed my grumpiness throughout. And then she became friendly with my papa too..... but she didn't play with me as I also didn't want to play with her. She prefers my mei-mei more but when mummy asked her whether she wants another mei-mei, she quickly replied "no!". I don't blame her as I also don't want another one.

Mummy's got a new blog for herself - she has decided not to use my site for her stuff anymore (not that she does most of the time anyway). She will strictly keep this site for me only.

None yet unless you count your friends who also blog.

2) Who is the ‘Most Wanted to Meet’ blogger for you?

This has to be Lucas' mummy as she's the first blogger I got to know along the way when I started reading blogs. She's in Penang and although we have managed to go to Penang a few times since Rye Li's was born, we have never gotten around to meet up due to the lack of time. Hope to meet up with her when we're heading up there in July for BIL's wedding.

3) Who is the ‘I can could meet, want wanted to meet but somehow never got to meet’ blogger? (modified a bit)

Same answer as above.

4) Who are the group of bloggers you most wanted to meet?

Ok, I do not know that many bloggers so this would be the bloggers that I have communicated so far and they are Lucas' mummy, Zara and Zaria's mummy (ZMM), Belle's mummy and Mummy of 2 Angels.

Actually, thanks to Lilian, I came across Lucas' mummy and ZMM. And thanks to ZMM, I came across Belle's mummy and thanks to Lucas' mummy, I came across Mummy of 2 angels. So, I would also love to meet Lilian one day as she has and still is inspiring alot of moms out there in so many ways! Thanks to her also, I was determined to breastfeed Rye Li as long as I could.
