Camerons - November 2009*

*another very backdated post (and there will be more to come)

We went back to Camerons in November last year although we were there the month before celebrating my mei-mei's 1st birthday. Mummy had a company's trip cum annual dinner so we all decided to tag along but we stayed at my grandpa's apartment.

Since the previous month, we didn't go to the waterfalls, we decided to stop at the waterfalls this round. Papa and mummy had no choice as I kept asking them about it till they gave in. So here are some of the pictures...

We didn't take much pictures after that as the weather up at Camerons were soooo gloomy as it was raining everyday! I did however go to my regular spot which is at the playground. Sorry no pictures as mummy and my mei-mei didn't go as they were stuck at the apartment. Mei-mei was not feeling very well.

Camerons - October 2009

We went to Camerons in October to celebrate my mei-mei's 1st birthday.

This what I did to entertain myself

We stopped by this hot spring at Kuala Woh, Tapah, which is on the way to Camerons and I had some fun in the waters.

I wish that I could go swimming or build stuff with the sand but we didn't bring any gear for this so papa said next time, we will have a picnic here.

After lunch, we went up to Camerons and I really wanted to stop by the waterfall at Latar Iskandar but it was raining so we headed straight to my grandpa's apartment.

When we have settled down, the rain stopped and so papa took me to the playground.

We had steamboat for dinner at Brinchang which the food was only so-so.

No, I'm not talking to anyone but listening to my favourite song, Love Story by Taylor Swift on papa's phone.

After dinner, we went back to the apartment and celebrated mei-mei's 1st birthday with a cake.

The next day, after breakfast, we went to the playground again and this time, with my mei-mei. I love this playground, every time we are in Camerons, this is must-visit place for me or else I will be showing you my blackest face ever.

After that we went back to take our showers and papa had his nap so while waiting for him, mummy took some shots of my mei-mei and I.

Finally we got to get out of the apartment and headed towards Boh tea farm at Ringlet. But I fell asleep on the way and so when I woke up, it was about to rain and hence, we hung out at the cafe for over an hour or so. So, no tea leaves pictures this time round.

I love eating mei-mei's leftovers when she doesn't finish her baby jar food, only the fruity ones that is.

Because the weather was so depressing as it was raining still, we hung out at the apartment and I got to enjoy some strawberries which I love so much. The sour, the better! This is also another must-have when I'm at Camerons.

After trying many attempts to smile for her (since she didn't give up), we had a successful one.

What a fun-filled week!

I didn’t get to go to Aunty Ng’s last week….yippie! Instead, we went to Cameron Highlands for three nights, then my mei-mei and I had to go see this new doctor for our jabs (which was no fun at all), then we went to Port Dickson for a day for mummy’s cousin’s wedding and then I had a birthday party to attend the next day.

At Camerons, the weather wasn’t good on us. It was raining nearly the whole time we were there. Mummy said I had the most fun as I got to go to my playground everyday while the rest of them (we had aunty pei see and her family plus her parents with us) stayed indoors most of the time. And since it was a holiday for all of us, I get to eat junk food everyday! After having proper food that is.

After Camerons, I had to see this new doctor which I quite like to take my jab. Mummy had told me earlier that I need this jab but I always said “I don’t want” but as usual, she didn’t listen to me and went ahead anyway. I was alright with the new place since they have this little playground for me to play around while we wait. And I was also alright when the new doctor checked me till she said she needed to put some medicine in my arm. This was when I started wailing and crying. Papa held me down and then it was mei-mei’s turn. She also cried and I told her “Mei-mei, don’t cry, doctor only put injection, pain for a while only!”

The next day, we all had to attend Uncle Ivan’s (mummy’s cousin) wedding at Port Dickson. It was a really nice wedding because I got to play sand the whole time we were there! We didn’t stay the night though but I got to have my bath at Grandpa’s room. Mei-mei and I slept throughout the car ride home.

The next morning, we attended our neighbour’s son’s first birthday party by our condo’s pool.

How I wish I don’t have to go to aunty Ng’s every week!

June Holidays - Camerons & Penang

This is a backdated post - won't go into so much details here but a summary of what we did during the first week of June when Aunty Ng was closed for the week.

We first went up to Camerons and stayed at Granpa's place for 3 nights before heading of to Penang. Too bad that our Astro card didn't work so I didn't get to watch my cartoons there. Our only entertainment at home was some music played by my Ipod and papa's laptop and of course, me.

On the way up, the traffic was so bad (no thanks to the school holidays too) that it took us awhile to reach Grandpa's place. Also, I vomitted towards the end from the winding road. Papa had to stop one side to clean me up and also to feed me my dinner as I was hungry by then. By the time we reached Grandpa's place, it was like 8-30pm already and we left KL at about 1pm!

We managed to go to the Boh Tea plantation, something Mummy has always wanted to do but never got the chance the last 2 times we were in Camerons.

Our tea - doesn't tastes as nice as it looks though and it was pricey!

We wanted to go strawberry picking after that but the places to pick strawberries were closed so we bought some at the market and went back to enjoy them at the balcony of Grandpa's apartment.

The next day we managed to visit a nursery with a strawberry farm. And thanks to our family friend, we got to pick some and also bought alot at a very good price too. I was really happy picking them, well, Mummy did the most picking, I just did the collecting and eating after that.

We left Camerons for Penang and stayed at the hotel on Gurney Road as papa had to work. While he was working, I was having fun at the hotel's pool and play area for kids. We were there for 3 nights. The first time at the pool, my Ah Kong and Ah Por (paternal grandparents) joined mummy and I. I tried making Ah Kong joined me at the pool but he only stood around like my bodyguard. Mummy forgot to bring her swimming gear so she couldn't join me and I was alright with this since I get to play with my toys.

The next day, I got my friend, Kai Ru and his mummy to accompany us at the pool. We had some fun playing and fighting (he was grabbing all my toys!)

After swimming, we played in the hotel's room till dinner time.

I loved my holidays so much that I kept asking mummy and papa "I want to go for holiday" when we got back home. I was even singing "Hooray, hooray, it's a holi-holiday!" throughout our time in Camerons. I hear mummy is planning to go back to Camerons for another holiday before my mei-mei (Chinese: little sister) comes out. Hooray!
