"You look like a monkey"

Just before my 2 year old birthday last December, Mummy will sing to me the birthday song now and then telling me that my birthday is coming. At times she will add on to the birthday song after she sang it with :-

"Happy Birthday to you,

You are born in the zoo,

You look like a monkey,

And smell like one too!"

Although my birthday has well passed, she will sing this song now and then. Little that she realise, I've also grown accustom to the song. Over the weekend, I was singing to myself this song and Mummy started laughing at me when I did. I just smiled at her and she sang along with me. She also mentioned that I should not be singing this song to anyone but her.
